Sw Engineer

Contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of high-quality medical software for the Advanced Visualization Workspace (AVW), while serving as a technical expert within the team and supporting reliable, maintainable, and secure software delivery.

Your role:

• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and continuously improving C#/.NET software for the Advanced Visualization Workspace platform.
• Translate product and technical requirements into secure, maintainable, and testable software solutions that support advanced clinical visualization and medical imaging workflows.
• Take ownership of moderately complex engineering tasks, work with autonomy, and collaborate with senior engineers, system engineers, testers, product managers, DevOps, and clinical stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise within the team, contribute to software design, support engineering best practices, coach new joiners, and influence continuous improvement.
• Ensure software quality through code reviews, unit/integration/system testing, defect investigation, root-cause analysis, and reliable fixes that improve performance, security, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, support DevOps and deployment activities, and responsibly use approved AI coding assistants to improve productivity, testing, and code quality.

You're the right fit if:

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; or vocational education in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.
• No prior experience is required with a relevant Bachelor’s degree; alternatively, you bring at least 4 years of relevant experience with vocational education in areas such as system architecture, system design, hardware engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• You have a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, software design principles, and the software development lifecycle.
• You have hands-on experience with C# and the .NET technology stack, including the ability to develop, test, debug, and maintain production-quality software.
• You have experience with software design, code reviews, unit and integration testing, defect investigation, and collaborative source-control workflows using Git.
• You have experience with the Advanced Visualization Workspace (AVW).
• You have experience with ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, desktop application development, automated testing frameworks, continuous integration and deployment, Windows-based debugging tools, image processing, visualization, and medical imaging concepts.
• You can take ownership of moderately complex engineering tasks, work with a good level of autonomy, and collaborate effectively with senior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• You have hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot and/or another AI coding assistant as part of a software development workflow, with the judgment to validate generated outputs responsibly.
• You communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, and can create accurate technical documentation and explain technical topics to different stakeholders.
• You bring a quality-focused mindset, with attention to reliability, maintainability, security, performance, privacy, and the responsibilities of developing software in a healthcare environment.

Compensation & benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base monthly salary range for this grade Software roles is 17,138.33 – 28,563.88 ILS. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This role is an office position.

This role is not open to relocation.
