As the Senior Vice President of National Payer Sales you are a senior sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding strategic partnerships with national commercial health plans. This role leads the identification, development, and execution of sales strategies for complex SaaS-based analytics solutions, positioning Quest Analytics as a trusted partner in improving network performance, compliance, and access to care.
As the Senior Vice President of National Payer Sales, you are a senior sales leader with full revenue responsibility across your national territory, including both new business acquisition and the retention and expansion of existing client partnerships. You are responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth and deepening strategic relationships with national commercial health plans.
The SVP will lead, coach, and develop the National Payer Sales team while remaining actively engaged in strategic pursuits, executive-level client conversations, complex deal development, account expansion, and closing activity. This role moves between setting national account strategy and personally entering an account or opportunity when additional executive influence, commercial strategy, or deal leadership is required.
This role leads the identification, development, and execution of sales strategies for complex SaaS-based analytics solutions, positioning Quest Analytics as a trusted partner in improving network performance, compliance, and access to care. As a key member of the commercial leadership team, you will bring a balanced focus on net-new logo growth and long-term account development, ensuring consistent, scalable revenue performance across the region.
What you will do:
- 10+ years of strategic SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of selling complex solutions
- 4+ years of experience working with national commercial health plans
- Minimum of 2 years management experience supervising staff
- Minimum of 3+ years of sales leadership experience managing quota-carrying sales professionals, including demonstrated success leading National Payer Sales teams while remaining actively involved in strategic client pursuits.
- Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding revenue targets in a high-growth environment
- Strong understanding of healthcare payer landscape, including network analytics, compliance, and regulatory considerations
- Experience selling data, analytics, or technology solutions within healthcare preferred
- Exceptional account development, presentation, and executive communication skills
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Results-oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to influence and build relationships at the executive level
- Experience leveraging data and analytics tools to support sales strategy
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance productivity and client engagement
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value for clients
- Willingness to travel up to ~30%
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally
