Job Purpose / Mục tiêu vị trí
The CSR/Sustainability Manager supports the development and delivery of Prudential Vietnam's sustainability agenda, with a primary focus on coordinating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes, partnerships, and community impact initiatives. The role operates with appropriate autonomy in managing assigned initiatives, partnerships, and stakeholder coordination within approved plans and under the guidance of the CSR Senior Manager. It may support Prudential Vietnam's engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, educational institutions, NGOs, industry associations, Prudence Foundation, and relevant PVA functions, while contributing to sustainability governance and ethics awareness initiatives that foster trust, responsible business practices, and long-term value creation.

Job Responsibilities / Phạm vi công việc


 

1. CSR Strategy, Partnerships & Community Impact (Primary Focus)

• Contribute to the development and execute approved CSR strategy and annual operating plans for Prudential Vietnam, in alignment with business priorities and Group commitments.

• Coordinate and manage the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of assigned CSR programmes across key focus areas, including financial literacy, education, health, and community resilience.

• Support the identification and development of partnerships with government agencies, schools, NGOs, international organizations, industry associations, and community partners to enhance programme delivery and impact.

• Manage assigned CSR initiatives from planning and coordination through implementation, impact tracking, and reporting, escalating key decisions and risks as appropriate.

• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement in community programmes to enhance reach, effectiveness, sustainability, and reputation outcomes.

• Support the development of programme impact frameworks and track outcomes against agreed objectives and KPIs.

 

2. Stakeholder Engagement & External Representation

• Support Prudential Vietnam's engagements with government authorities, educational institutions, NGOs, development organizations, industry bodies, and strategic partners, with external representation undertaken in line with agreed delegation and guidance.

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders to support CSR and sustainability objectives.

• Coordinate with Prudence Foundation, Group Sustainability, and relevant regional stakeholders as assigned and in alignment with agreed engagement protocols.

• Prepare inputs and support presentations, partnership discussions, and follow-up actions related to CSR, sustainability, and community investment programmes.

• Support senior management in external engagements and speaking opportunities relating to community and sustainability initiatives.

3. Sustainability Governance & Integration

• Support the implementation and monitoring of PVA's sustainability agenda and priorities.

• Coordinate sustainability-related reporting, disclosures, and management updates in accordance with Group and local requirements.

• Identify sustainability risks, opportunities, and emerging trends, providing recommendations where appropriate.

• Coordinate sustainability governance activities by maintaining proper tracking, documentation, and follow-up on agreed action plans.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability considerations into selected business and community initiatives.

4. Ethics Awareness & Culture

• Support the execution of PVA's ethics awareness and engagement programme, promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and responsible business conduct across the organization.

• Coordinate ethics-related communications, campaigns, and employee engagement activities in partnership with Compliance, HR, and business leaders.

• Monitor participation and effectiveness of awareness programmes and recommend improvements where needed.

5. Reporting, Governance & Project Management

• Joint the preparation of CSR, sustainability, and Corporate Affairs reports, presentations, and stakeholder updates.

• Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, independently, and in compliance with governance requirements.

• Manage external agencies, consultants, NGOs, and implementation partners to ensure quality delivery and value for investment.

• Monitor project budgets, timelines, risks, and performance indicators.

• Provide strategic recommendations to management based on programme outcomes, stakeholder feedback, and emerging developments.

• Support the delivery of Prudential Vietnam's CSR and Prudence Foundation recommended activities within approved plans and under appropriate guidance.

• Contribute to the delivering measurable social impact and strengthen Prudential Vietnam's corporate reputation through effective programs and partnerships.

• Support professional engagement with government agencies, schools, NGOs, industry partners, and Group stakeholders in line with approved delegation.

• Maintain effective tracking, documentation, reporting, and compliance support for CSR and sustainability activities.

• Support implementation of sustainability and ethics initiatives across the organization.

• Deliver agreed Corporate Affairs & Sustainability objectives in accordance with approved plans, budgets, and timelines.


Job Requirements / Yêu cầu:

Qualifications:

• University degree in relevant field of study

• Marketing & Communication degree preferable

Experience:

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in CSR or Sustainability, Corporate Affairs, Community Investment, External Relations, NGO Management, Education programmers, Development Sector, or related fields.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting strategy development and independently managing assigned projects and partnerships within approved direction.

• Proven track record of engaging effectively with senior government officials, school principals, NGO leaders, development organizations, and corporate partners.

• Experience in insurance, financial services, multinational corporations, NGOs, or international organizations is preferred.


Knowledge and skill:

• Planning, project management, governance, budget management, and impact measurement expertise.

• Ability to independently develop recommendations and execute approved plans with minimal supervision.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage constructively with internal teams and external partners.

• Experience supporting organizational engagement with stakeholders and external partners, in line with agreed delegation.

• Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.

• Advanced communication, presentation, and report-writing skills in English and Vietnamese.
