About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Planner to take end-to-end ownership of the planning and supply activities for one or more product families within our sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing operation.
This role offers hands-on experience across production planning, material planning, purchasing, inventory management, and finite scheduling. Working closely with Operations, Quality teams, and Customer Service, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer demand is translated into achievable production plans while maintaining material availability and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do
- Review and maintain customer demand forecasts and validate requirements against available manufacturing capacity in SAP.
- Run Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to identify material shortages, create a delivery plan for raw materials and generate purchasing requirements.
- Raise and manage purchase orders to ensure raw material availability in line with inventory policies.
- Create, release, and maintain production orders and associated manufacturing documentation.
- Develop and maintain finite production schedules using SAP and the Advanced Planning & Scheduling System (APS).
- Monitor production progress and collaborate with operations’ teams to resolve capacity constraints and schedule deviations.
- Maintain planning master data, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and supporting documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain and manufacturing operations processes.
- Build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams to ensure service, inventory, and production objectives are achieved.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years’+ experience using SAP PP/MM in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Change management experience with digital transformation.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred
- Experience using Advanced Planning and Scheduling Systems.
- Experience within a pharmaceutical and GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- APICS CPIM certification.
- CIPS Level 4 qualification.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement or change management initiatives.
