Introduction to the job

Are you challenged by managing strategic suppliers regarding supply chain management, capacity planning and cycle time reduction towards competitive supply chain performance? 

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that critical materials and components are available to support ASML’s advanced technology systems. Your work will help create a reliable and resilient supply chain that enables innovation in the semiconductor industry.

In this role, you will collaborate across sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, supplier operations, and external suppliers to improve supply chain performance, reduce risk, and support long-term business growth. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will help ASML challenge what is possible, collaborate to deliver the best solutions, and care for sustainable and responsible supply chain practices.

Role and responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will serve as the logistics representative within a multidisciplinary supplier account team. You will work independently to resolve complex supply chain challenges, drive supplier performance improvements, and strengthen supplier capabilities.

You will:

  • Build trusted relationships with supplier and internal stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance and lead improvement actions to close performance gaps.
  • Lead Demand and Supply-related escalations and drive timely resolution of supply chain disruptions.
  • Develop and maintain supplier capacity growth and flexibility plans to support business demand.
  • Assess supplier Move Rate capability and drive supplier capability improvement programs focused on delivery performance, order lead time, and operational excellence.
  • Identify supply chain risks across multiple supplier tiers and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects that enhance logistics processes and overall supply chain performance.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferred: Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical), Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, sourcing, procurement, or another complex operational environment.
  • Experience with managing performance of contract manufacturers in high-tech industries.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics management principles, supplier performance management, and capacity planning.
  • Experience leading supplier improvement initiatives and managing supply chain risks.
  • Experience using enterprise resource planning systems, supply chain planning tools, and data analysis applications.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage priorities across global organizations.

  • This position is located on-site in Wilton, CT. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
  • A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week). 
  • May require up to 20% travel dependent on business needs.

Additional Responsibilities:

There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
