We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to work at our McKinney, Texas facility.

 

This is an onsite role in McKinney, TX.

 

What You Will Do:

 

• The Counterfeit Avoidance Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity of Raytheon’s supplier base by mitigating counterfeit avoidance risks.
• This position involves collaboration with supply chain, program managers, engineering teams, and suppliers to ensure compliance with Raytheon’s policies and contractual requirements.
• You will contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and reliability in procurement processes while staying current with industry practices.

 

What You Will Learn:

 

• Interpret quality requirements, industry standards, and contractual regulations for application to Raytheon procurements.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of Raytheon’s counterfeit avoidance policies.
• Ensure counterfeit avoidance requirements are effectively communicated and flowed down to suppliers.
• Coordinate approvals for high-risk counterfeit procurements.
• Conduct collaborative communication with suppliers, cross-business teams, and customers.
• Support independent distributor approval and maintenance efforts, including recurring assessments.
• Attend counterfeit avoidance industry conferences and seminars to align with best practices.
• Travel within the United States (<10%) to assess approved independent distributors and associated testing laboratories

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

 

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of experience.
• Experience with quality assurance concepts and methodologies.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with management to resolve engineering issues.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Confidential security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

 

Qualifications We Prefer:

 

• Previous work experience in quality engineering.
• Experience with developing solutions to issues using a systematic approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with counterfeit avoidance industry standards and practices.
• Ability to work independently under general direction.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
