JOB PURPOSE
Ensure the quality of materials and components supplied by vendors through evaluation, auditing, and development, guaranteeing compliance with specifications and reducing risks in the supply chain.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements and technical capabilities.
- Conduct supplier audits to verify compliance with standards and processes.
- Responsible for carrying out PTR runs for initial component samples and closing the PPAP process for each validated component.
- Analyze supplier performance through quality indicators.
- Manage supplier non-conformities and ensure effective corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Logistics to resolve quality-related issues.
- Develop strategic suppliers to improve their performance levels.
- Validate supplier process changes to ensure controlled impact.
- Monitor deliveries to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Generate performance reports to support decision-making.
What we’re looking for
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 3 years or more in a similar role.
- Technical Knowledge Required:
- Core Tools
- IATF 16949
- GD&T
- Manufacturing processes
- Statistical methods
- Problem-solving methodologies
- Technical skills according to assigned commodities
- IATF 16949 Internal Auditor
- LPAs (Layered Process Audits)
- Other Requirements: English Level: Conversational / Business
