As the Supervisor, Warehouse, you are expected to report to the office and/or warehouse (onsite) - these locations are approx. 40 mins apart.

On a given day, you may:

Warehouse & Logistics Management

  • Oversee and monitor warehouse operations performed by third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular reconciliation and cycle count reviews.
  • Monitor warehouse and transportation KPIs, including on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory integrity, and service levels.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Investigate and resolve logistics and inventory discrepancies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with logistics partners.

Order Management & Customer Support

  • Coordinate order fulfillment activities for the region.
  • Monitor order processing and shipment execution to ensure timely customer deliveries.
  • Collaborate with customer service, sales, procurement, and operations teams to address customer requirements.
  • Resolve delivery issues and communicate status updates to stakeholders.

Procurement & Supplier Coordination

  • Create and manage purchase orders for international subsidiaries and local suppliers.
  • Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmations and delivery schedules.
  • Purchase inventory and non-inventory materials as required.
  • Review and coordinate supplier invoices and payment-related activities.

Import & Export Operations

  • Coordinate import and export shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Track incoming shipments and customs clearance activities.
  • Review import/export documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support temporary export and re-import processes.
  • Maintain records related to customs transactions and international shipments.

Customs & Trade Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local customs regulations and international trade requirements.
  • Maintain complete records for active customs brokers and required authorizations.
  • Review customs declarations, invoices, and shipping documentation.
  • Validate import/export information, including:
  • Support tariff classification determinations and customs valuation requirements.
  • Manage supporting documentation for customs audits and regulatory inspections.

Discrepancy & Claims Management

  • Investigate overages, shortages, and shipment discrepancies.
  • Collect supporting documentation and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers, customs brokers, and subsidiaries.
  • Follow up on credit notes, invoices, and replacement shipments as required.

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Maintain accurate logistics, inventory, and customs records.
  • Generate operational reports and KPI dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, cost management, and service performance.
  • Support implementation of standardized logistics and trade compliance processes.

Qualifications

Education (Must to have)

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, import/export, supply chain, or trade compliance. (must to have)
  • Experience managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs). (nice to have)
  • Experience working with customs brokers and international transportation providers. (nice to gave)
  • Knowledge of inventory management and order fulfillment processes. (nice to have)

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of international trade and customs regulations.
  • Knowledge of warehousing and transportation operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Languages (must to have)

  • Spanish – Fluent
  • English – Advanced (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in a multinational manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of Latin American import/export regulations.
  • Experience with inventory control and warehouse performance management.
  • Certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or International Trade is a plus.
