About Total Life
Total Life is a telehealth company dedicated to the health of older adults. Over five years we have delivered care to more than 10,000 patients, and we now also offer lifestyle and longevity medicine and psychiatric care for adults 65 and over. We complement patients' primary care rather than replace it.

The role
We are looking for a Florida-licensed physician to serve as supervising physician for Total Life nurse practitioners under written supervisory protocols. This is a remote, part-time contract role requiring a few hours per month for each NP. No travel or on-site presence is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish written supervisory protocols with Total Life nurse practitioners, covering scope of practice, consultation, referral and prescribing parameters
• Meet regularly with each NP by video or phone to review care and quality
• Review an agreed sample of each NP's charts
• Be available by phone or video for clinical consultation during NP practice hours, and arrange alternate physician coverage when unavailable
• Support NPs providing longevity and psychiatric care via telehealth

Requirements

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Florida medical license
• Board certified in psychiatry, internal medicine, family medicine or geriatrics
• No history of disciplinary action
• Comfortable supporting telehealth practice with an older adult population
• Current malpractice coverage that includes supervision

Nice to have

• Experience supervising NPs in a telehealth setting
• Experience in geriatric psychiatry or geriatric medicine
