The opportunity
The Strategic Relationship Manager will lead Harvard Business Impact's business development and growth initiatives across India.
Working closely with the Regional Director, Asia Pacific, this role is responsible for identifying and developing opportunities with universities, business schools, and higher education institutions while building strategic relationships with academic leaders and institutional stakeholders.
The successful candidate will combine consultative selling, market development, and relationship-building to expand Harvard Business Impact's reach, drive adoption of its solutions, and contribute to long-term growth across the Indian higher education market.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify, develop, and convert opportunities with universities, business schools, and other learning organizations across India.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective institutional partnerships.
- Lead consultative engagements and complex buying cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Drive growth by expanding Harvard Business Impact's presence across existing and emerging market segments.
Strategic Relationship Building
- Build relationships with senior academic leaders, institutional decision-makers, and key influencers within the higher education ecosystem.
- Position Harvard Business Impact as a trusted partner by aligning solutions with institutional priorities and strategic objectives.
- Develop partnerships that create long-term value and growth opportunities.
Market Engagement & Thought Leadership
- Represent Harvard Business Impact at industry forums, conferences, and institutional events.
- Maintain a strong understanding of trends and emerging opportunities within higher education and lifelong learning.
- Share market insights and customer intelligence to support growth strategies and market development initiatives.
Commercial Excellence & Collaboration
- Maintain an effective pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and business planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer success, growth objectives, and market expansion initiatives.
- Leverage CRM and market intelligence tools to drive informed decision-making and execution.
