Global Logistics provides sophisticated supply chain solutions, from end-to-end or part solutions, warehousing and distribution to dedicated transport solutions, across the globe and to some of the most remote corners of the world.
Our customers produce goods from various parts of the healthcare ecosystem. From consumer healthcare products like vitamins to medical devices like contact lenses and robotic surgical instruments, Toll has the expertise and certifications to move and store various types of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. In specialised purpose-built facilities, our team can also manage unit dose packaging and vaccine storage and handling in cold rooms.
About the Role
At Toll Group, we do more than move goods, we move the businesses that keep communities running. We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our Healthcare division, supporting a portfolio of major national healthcare customers. In this highly visible role, you will act as the key operational contact for customers, partnering with internal teams to deliver safe, compliant, efficient and scalable logistics solutions. You will combine strong commercial acumen, operational planning expertise and stakeholder management skills to drive exceptional customer outcomes and continuous improvement.
A Day in the Life of a Strategic Account Manager at Toll
- Manage a portfolio of major healthcare customers as the primary operational point of contact.
- Build trusted customer relationships and lead regular operational review meetings.
- Oversee forecasting, operational planning and capacity management to support customer demand.
- Monitor and present KPI, SLA and performance reporting, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with warehouse, transport, finance and commercial teams to deliver service excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost management, quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related discipline (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience managing strategic customer relationships in a complex environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics or 3PL operations.
- Experience working with performance metrics, service levels and contractual obligations.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in 3PL logistics operations or operational planning.
- Strong analytical capability with expertise in performance reporting and KPI management.
- Experience in labour planning, cost control and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across operations, commercial and customer-facing teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement and customer service excellence.
