ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

The Stand-In / Costume Performer will serve as a costumed character or visual stand-in during filming, rehearsals, live events, promotional activities, and/or production-related activities. The individual will wear and perform in a costume as directed by the Production team and will help maintain the visual representation of the assigned character or role.

YOUR DAY - DAY:

• Wear and perform in a designated costume for production, promotional, or event activities.
• Follow direction from Production, Directors, Producers, and/or Stage Management.
• Remain in costume for extended periods as required by the production schedule.
• Perform basic movements, poses, gestures, and scripted or rehearsed actions as instructed.
• Participate in rehearsals, camera blocking, and production activities.
• Maintain the appearance and condition of the costume while in use.
• Communicate any issues related to the costume, visibility, mobility, temperature, or comfort to the Production team.
• Maintain professional and appropriate behavior while representing the company, production, or assigned character.
• Follow all applicable production, safety, and workplace guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

YOU HAVE:

• Ability to wear and work comfortably in a costume for extended periods.
• Ability to follow directions and perform rehearsed movements consistently.
• Comfortable working in front of cameras, audiences, or production personnel.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Previous experience as a costumed performer, mascot, character performer, stand-in, or production performer is a plus but not required
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to wear a costume that may be warm, heavy, restrictive, or limit visibility.
• Ability to perform basic physical movements while wearing the costume.
• Ability to work indoors and/or outdoors depending on production requirements.
