About this Staff Frontend Software Engineer - React and Next.js role at Mindera

💪 How You’ll Contribute
- Architect & Build: Lead the design and development of high-performance, secure, and scalable frontend solutions.
- Engineering Excellence: Champion high-quality standards in developing great user interfaces that impact users worldwide.
- Testing Strategy: Drive reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and a Shift-Left/TDD approach.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), moving self-driven toward a common team or company purpose with minimal supervision.
Requirements
You’re Great At...
- Experience: Bringing 9+ years of professional engineering experience, with a heavy focus on high-traffic, web-native products (SaaS, consumer web, or large-scale digital platforms).
- Next.js Architecture: Driving the architecture of complex Next.js applications. You deeply understand rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR, RSC), caching, and transitioning or scaling within the App Router ecosystem.
- Web Fundamentals: Mastering Vanilla JavaScript and browser mechanics. You understand the core of the language, DOM manipulation, and how the open web actually works beneath the frameworks.
- Web Performance: Obsessing over Core Web Vitals, SEO optimization, and delivering lightning-fast, accessible user interfaces to a global audience.
- Testing Culture: Cultivating a shift-left mindset and rigorous automated testing practices to catch issues early, ensuring high reliability for production web apps
- Mindset: Being passionate, self-driven, and thriving in a self-organized environment where you take ownership of your career, architectural decisions, and product impact.
Your Technical Toolkit:
- Core: Expert-level Vanilla JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js (including advanced routing and server-state management).
- Quality: Deep knowledge of Testing (Unit, Integration, E2E, TDD, Shift-Left) tailored for modern web applications.
- Cloud: Professional experience with Azure Cloud/AWS/Google Cloud is considered a significant plus.
- Observability: Familiarity or experience with New Relic/Datadog/Dynatrace for monitoring web performance, client-side errors, and API latency is a plus
- Methodology: Strong experience working in Scrum and Kanban environments for agile, product-led web teams.

- Tech Interview - 2-hour call with two of our Engineers to assess your knowledge in depth, featuring theoretical scenarios and architectural exercises.
- Cultural Interview - 1-hour call with a Minder to ensure alignment with our values.
- Project/Client Call - A final 30 to 60-minute call to ensure the perfect fit for a specific mission.
