Introduction:
Provide Oversight for fixed asset transactions to the Fixed asset team in the BPO (TCS in India), Audit Coordination and assist in ongoing fixed asset projects
Your Job:
- Review and provide guidance on fixed asset transactions to the Fixed asset team in the BPO (TCS in India), including lease transactions and long-term licensing transactions.
- Assist in preparation of documentation and memos supporting the Company’s accounting positions related to fixed assets (as required).
- Execute and document processes and internal controls around applicable fixed asset accounting processes. Ensure internal controls compliance is prepared and retained. Coordinate with the SOX team and external auditor,
- Provide necessary documentation required for financial audit.
- Support and review financial reporting related to fixed assets.
- Assisting with other accounting projects as required. Examples include Integration of newly acquired entities, process and reporting enhancements for Fixed Assets.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA/CA preferred
- At least 8 years of public accounting or corporate experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good problem solving and (accounting) investigative skills
- Ability to apply technical accounting guidance to transaction fact pattern to arrive at recommended accounting position
- Familiar with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP S4 Hana
