Introduction to the job

ASML Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) plays a critical role in securing materials, capabilities, and supplier performance that enable ASML’s manufacturing and customer success.

To support the increasing complexity and strategic importance of our supply chain, we are looking for a Program Manager to cowork with leadership for business performance and strategy setup as well as deployment.

This role covers end‑to‑end program management, and Hoshin Kanri–based strategy deployment. You will operate as a trusted strategic partner to SS&P leadership, ensuring that long‑term strategic objectives are translated into executable programs, governed effectively, and driven to measurable impact.

The position offers broad exposure across strategy, operations, governance, and executive decision-making, and plays a pivotal role in aligning leadership priorities, performance management, and cross‑functional execution.

Role and responsibilities

1. Strategy Deployment & Hoshin Kanri

  • Lead the annual and multi‑year strategy deployment process using Hoshin Kanri (or equivalent frameworks such as OKR/BSC).

  • Translate SS&P strategic priorities into clear objectives, breakthrough initiatives, KPIs, and milestones.

  • Ensure alignment between global strategy, regional execution, and functional roadmaps.

  • Facilitate catchball discussions with leadership and key stakeholders to drive alignment and ownership.

  • Monitor progress, risks, and trade‑offs, ensuring strategic focus is maintained throughout the year.

2. Program & Portfolio Management

  • Own and manage a portfolio of strategic programs and cross‑functional initiatives across supply chain performance, risk, compliance, digitalization, and capability development.

  • Define program governance, structure, timelines, dependencies, and success criteria.

  • Track execution through structured cadence and ensure corrective actions when needed.

  • Balance multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining clarity on priorities and resource constraints.

Education and experience
Typically 10–15 years of professional experience, with strong exposure to program / portfolio management, strategy deployment or strategic planning, supply chain, operations, or performance management.

  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Proven experience working with senior leadership / executives.

  • Experience with Hoshin Kanri, OKR, Balanced Scorecard, MBO, SMART goals, or Lean Six Sigma is a strong plus.

  • Consulting background or equivalent internal consulting experience is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of procurement, supply chain, or technology-driven industrial environments is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to connect vision to execution.

  • Excellent program management and execution discipline.

  • High level of analytical capability, able to synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative information.

  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, especially in executive-level presentations.

  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity, change, and high‑pressure environments.

  • Strong stakeholder management, emotional intelligence, and influencing skills.

  • Structured, proactive, and results‑driven mindset.

  • Excellent English (written and spoken).

Other information

This headcount will be managed under 3rd party agency and it will be 1-year contract.
