Overview

Are you an experienced social media strategist with a deep understanding of digital engagement and video production expertise? Esri is seeking a Sr. Social Media Specialist to develop social media content with a focus on video content for all platforms, drive brand awareness, and enhance community engagement. In this role, you will contribute to the execution of high-impact campaigns, analyze performance metrics at a strategic level, and contribute to the evolution of Esri’s social presence. Responsibilities

  • Shoot, produce, and edit video content. Work alongside a fast-moving creative team focused on compelling storytelling that supports Esri users and appeals to a growing fanbase.
  • Develop and contribute to social media strategy. Develop and implement innovative strategies that align with Esri’s business goals and go-to-market campaigns. Establish best practices and ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and engagement across all platforms with a special focus on social video and YouTube.
  • Manage and optimize campaigns. Oversee end-to-end social media campaign development, execution, and analysis. Monitor trends, competitor activities, and audience behaviors to refine strategies.
  • Enhance content strategy. Development of high-quality content tailored for various platforms with a special focus on social video. Provide strategic insights to ensure messaging aligns with Esri’s brand identity and marketing goals.
  • Measure and analyze performance. Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop advanced reporting methods to assess impact. Leverage analytics tools to provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement. Be adept and agile on applying insights in an iterative process.
  • Communicate and collaborate. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to elevate social media execution.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends. Monitor emerging social media platforms, tools, and trends. Develop forward-thinking strategies to position Esri as a leader in digital engagement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital content creation, or a related field
  • Proven success developing and executing social media strategies, with expertise in social video production, content creation, and performance optimization
  • Strong technical proficiency in video production, including creating both low-fi and high-fi content, and expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Frame.io, and related creative tools
  • Experience using social media platforms and analytics tools, particularly YouTube and Meta, to measure performance and inform strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate effectively across organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, film and video production, or a related field
  • Occasional travel may be required (up to ~20%); travel needs may vary based on business requirements

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

$76,752$123,344 USD
