As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of solutions that connect our business, technology teams, and clients across a global payments ecosystem. What You'll Own

• Lead quality assurance efforts across web, mobile, API, and enterprise applications, ensuring successful delivery of reliable and scalable solutions.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using modern tools and technologies such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Validate application functionality through manual and automated testing, identifying defects and ensuring resolution prior to production deployment.
• Perform API and backend testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, and cURL, validating request/response payloads, response codes, and database integrity.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment quality and accelerate release cycles.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production and testing defects, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Drive adherence to quality standards, testing best practices, security controls, and PCI compliance requirements.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation sessions, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor and support other QA professionals by sharing knowledge, reviewing testing approaches, and promoting engineering excellence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen testing processes, application quality, and team productivity.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software quality assurance experience, including at least 2-3 years in a Senior or Lead QA capacity.
• Proven experience developing comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test execution frameworks for complex enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in test automation using tools such as:Selenium Playwright Cypress
• Programming experience in one or more of the following:JavaScript / TypeScript Java Python
• Strong experience testing RESTful APIs and web services using:Postman RestAssured cURL
• Experience validating:JSON payloads API response codes Database transactions Data integrity through SQL querying
• Hands-on experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:GitHub Actions Jenkins GitLab CI
• Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies with active participation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Strong defect management experience using Jira, including root cause analysis, defect tracking, prioritization, and lifecycle management.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

It's a Bonus If You Have

• Experience within the payments, banking, fintech, or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of digital payments, payment processing, POS platforms, tokenization, mobile payment solutions, and e-commerce technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience leveraging Docker and containerized environments for test execution and scalability.
• Exposure to performance, security, or load testing methodologies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive quality-focused decision-making.
