Senior Fullstack Engineer
Build across the stack and ship features that hold up.

About the Role
We build production web applications for clients, and we like engineers who are comfortable owning a feature from the database to the interface. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you work across React / Next.js and Node / TypeScript to design, build, and ship features that stay reliable in production.
You'll work inside a Monks delivery team, alongside clients, product, and design, taking real ownership of the parts of the product you build.
We're all-in on agentic engineering. Tools like Claude Code and Codex are part of our everyday workflow, and we're looking for people who are genuinely fluent working alongside AI coding agents and excited to push those practices further.

- Ownership-minded: you take a feature from idea to shipped, and you sweat the details.
- A pragmatic problem-solver: you pick the simplest thing that works and holds up.
- A clear communicator: you keep clients and teammates in the loop without noise.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain features across the frontend (React / Next.js) and backend (Node / TypeScript).
- Build and consume APIs, and model the data behind them.
- Review code, including AI-generated code, for quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to ship end to end.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Contribute to the team's standards, tooling, and practices.
What You Bring
- 5+ years building and shipping full-stack web applications.
- Strong TypeScript: React and Next.js on the front end, Node on the back end.
- Solid API design and data modeling.
- Experience building on AWS.
- Good testing habits and an eye for maintainable code.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile consulting environment.
Extra Credit
- You've worked on AI-heavy products or integrated LLMs.
- Deep PostgreSQL experience.
- You've built or maintained a design system.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Open-source work you're proud to link.
