Job Description Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Facility Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our facility and ensure a safe, efficient, and well‑maintained environment for all occupants. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting, enjoys problem‑solving, and is confident managing both people and processes.

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, engineering, custodial services, life‑safety systems, and site services.

  • Manage vendor contracts, ensure compliance, and review pricing and invoices.

  • Supervise maintenance programs for both interior and exterior areas to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to tenant and occupant requests, ensuring issues are resolved in line with service level agreements.

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date site documentation, logs, manuals, compliance records, and operational reports.

  • Prepare and review budgets, financial reports, purchase orders, and expenditures.

  • Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long‑term business plans.

  • Contribute to capital planning, including maintenance strategies, facility improvements, and cost‑reduction initiatives.

  • Collect and analyze facility data to support operational decision‑making.

  • Hire, train, and lead facility staff, fostering a positive and high‑performing team environment.

  • Ensure compliance with management agreements, insurance requirements, and safety standards.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5–7 years of experience managing commercial properties, campuses, or property portfolios.

  • Strong understanding of building operations, engineering, construction, and maintenance.

  • Experience with critical systems and cost‑efficiency programs is a plus.

  • Familiarity with CMMS/Work Order Management systems.

  • Industry certifications (CFM, IFMA, BOMA) are an advantage.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems and facility monitoring tools.

Work Environment

This role is based in a professional office setting and requires regular use of standard office equipment. Some travel between properties may be required, including in varying weather conditions.

Physical Requirements

The role involves regular communication, computer use, movement around the facility, and periods of stationary work (50–75%). Occasional reaching or lifting may be required.
