Sr. Director - ATP Leader - Unity DX

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for providing central expertise, support, and control for all projects in scope including developing plans and templates, following-through tasks across stakeholder groups, training/mentoring project teams, monitoring inter-project dependencies, and reporting project status and budget utilization to leadership. Focuses solely on project cost control. Refers to corporate, franchise, and specific function-driven projects, including Business Development/M&A, Digital Innovation, Analytics & Insights, Regulatory, Commercial and Customer Support, and Enabling Functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is part of Alcon's Project Management function, a team that ensures all regular and one-off projects are planned, organized, and executed effectively to help our people and the world see brilliantly. The Sr. Director, Project/Program Management (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for leading and directing large, complex projects to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery that meets business objectives. You will engage with business partners to drive technology adoption and business growth:

• Lead and deliver large, complex projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence while meeting business objectives
• Engage and communicate regularly with business partners to achieve goals through effective technology use
• Contribute routinely to executive business reviews
• Drive Alcon's growth by orchestrating processes and coordinating across internal teams and stakeholders, providing strategic expertise and direction
• Conduct independent research and thought leadership activities to optimize project outcomes
• Provide strategic direction and oversight to project teams, collaborating with senior leadership to align project objectives with business goals
• All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.
• Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.
• Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations​
