About this Sr. Data Analyst role at Leidos
The Leidos National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) Program is looking for a Program Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Office of Advanced Aviation Technologies (AAT).
The Office of Advanced Aviation Technologies will be the designated point for activities related to the integration of advanced aviation technologies including Advance Air Mobility, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and Supersonic aircraft in United States.
In this role, the analyst will bridge the gap between technical data systems and day-to-day business needs. Core duties include leading the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) clearance process, improving data intake forms, managing datasets, and building dashboards / visualizations (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Power Apps, Tableau) to help leadership measure program performance.
This position is located in Washington DC .
Potential for up to 90% telework.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain a centralized LOB Data Request & Needs Matrix to log intake requests, track analytics deliverables, and map data assets to program goals.
- Execute routine gap analyses comparing current data holdings against emerging LOB needs and policy mandates; formulate strategic recommendations for acquiring missing data points or establishing new collection pipelines.
- Oversee the design, revision, and standardization of program data intake forms, surveys, and digital submission channels to maximize collection efficiency while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain a centralized Program KPI Framework, establishing baseline metrics, target thresholds, and automated reporting routines for leadership.
- Query distributed data environments using advanced SQL to synthesize disparate data sources (e.g., using Starburst Trino across data lakehouses).
- Design, deploy, and maintain executive-level data dashboards and advanced spreadsheet or financial models to visualize LOB activity, KPI trends, and program performance metrics (e.g., using Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or Power BI).
- Oversee core program datasets to ensure high standards of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and structural integrity.
- Enforce data governance standards by maintaining centralized data dictionaries, documenting data lineage from intake through reporting, and implementing routine data profiling and quality checks.
- Serve as the functional subject matter expert on program datasets, responding to ad-hoc data inquiries and audit calls from leadership and oversight entities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to communicate to various levels of management, with the capacity to multi-task, strong organizational skills, budget adherence experience, and ability to organize meetings consisting of agency and external stakeholders with a broad range of specialties and interests including members from professional aviation organizations are required.
- High proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Advanced proficiency and working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and PowerApps as well as SQL.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of multiple coding languages.
- Prior experience working in federal government contracting. Working knowledge of FAA systems.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
