As a Sr. Clerk, Admin Servicing at CarMax Auto Finance (CAF), you will play a critical role in supporting essential administrative processes that keep our operations running smoothly. Team Overview

Join a team that powers the behind-the-scenes operations of CarMax Auto Finance. Our Admin Servicing team ensures every customer interaction and transaction is handled with integrity and efficiency. You will work closely with associates, CarMax stores, and external vendors to resolve inquiries and maintain compliance. This structured yet dynamic environment values teamwork, accuracy, and proactive problem-solving.

Role Responsibilities

• Complete administrative work requests to support multiple business areas, including preparing and processing customer correspondence, data entry, and account notation in internal systems.
• Collaborate with team members, other departments, store locations, and vendors to resolve customer questions and concerns promptly.
• Manage document workflows, including filing, sorting, scanning, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Validate document accuracy, identify errors, and ensure proper documentation for compliance.
• Assist with onboarding new associates, providing process overviews and guidance for a smooth transition.
• Handle high-volume tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and business objectives.
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as needed.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, math, and communication skills.
• Strong data entry and keyboarding skills with accuracy and speed.

Benefits:

Except as otherwise required by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to the following paid sick, vacation, and holiday time.

Associates that are considered full-time hourly or commission/incentive eligible:

• To earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year accrued on a per pay period basis and between 80 hours and 200 hours per year of vacation time after a 90 day waiting period depending on years of continuous service with the Company. 
• For 8 hours of pay for each of a total of 6 paid scheduled holidays per year plus 1 floating holiday.  If such an Associate does work on a scheduled holiday due to business need, they are eligible for Holiday Premium Pay. 

Associates considered full-time salaried are entitled to paid time away with no specified limit as needed for sick, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, floating holiday, etc. subject to manager approval.
