Job Description:

Role Summary 

 

The Sr. Analyst, Strategic Finance, will be an integral part of the Strategic Finance team, working to execute OneOncology’s growth strategy with new practice partners, evaluating organic and inorganic growth opportunities within its existing portfolio of practices, and assessing key corporate value levers across a wide array of functions. 

This will be a dynamic role which requires a multi-dimensional skillset including the ability to execute key deal processes, perform detailed analytics, and communicate effectively with team leaders and company management. The individual should be a highly motivated self-starter, who is comfortable thinking critically, asking questions, and able to work in ambiguous environments. 

The role will provide exciting growth opportunities for personal and career development within a high-growth healthcare company, as well as regular interactions with the VP of Strategic Finance, and regular exposure to executive and practice leadership. This is an ideal role for someone looking to make an impact within a well-capitalized, high-growth private equity environment. While the individual will work primarily within the Strategic Finance team, the role will interface directly with a diverse array of functions including FP&A/accounting, business development, and operations. OneOncology is growing rapidly and adding multiple new practices each year. The Strategic Finance team is at the center of realizing our growth expectations. 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Execute M&A processes and diligence workstreams, including financial analysis, communication with target practices, and presentation of findings to management and business development teams 

  • Evaluate key strategic projects including capital projects, practice growth opportunities, and service line expansion 

  • Support the business development and Strategic Finance management teams in evaluating opportunities by identifying and evaluating key areas of risk and opportunity 

  • Contribute frequently to the preparation of materials for presentation to our Executive Investment Committee 

  • Build and maintain financial models to support transaction deliverables, financial plans, and strategies 

  • Analyze financial information and operational data to identify performance variances and areas for operational and financial improvement 

  • Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer. 

 

 

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree  

  • Ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years of work experience 

  • Transaction advisory, consulting, corporate M&A/finance, or investment banking experience strongly preferred 

  • Healthcare services related experience strongly preferred, but not required 

  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills 

  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint 

  • Strong academic performance 

  • Understand fundamental GAAP and financial concepts 

  • SQL or PowerBI experience a plus but not required 

  • Data mining and modeling capabilities 

  • Ability to analyze and diligence information from various data sources 

  • Must be able to work in a fast growing, rapidly evolving business, often with multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Location in Nashville required
