Job Description:

BUILD SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF

The Walt Disney Company, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, is a leading diversified international family entertainment and media enterprise with the following business segments: Disney Entertainment, ESPN, Disney Parks, and Experiences and Products. From humble beginnings as a cartoon studio in the 1920s to its preeminent name in the entertainment industry today, Disney proudly continues its legacy of creating world-class stories and experiences for every member of the family. Disney’s stories, characters and experiences reach consumers and guests from every corner of the globe. With operations in more than 40 countries, our employees and cast members work together to create entertainment experiences that are both universally and locally cherished.

How will you contribute to our magical experience?

The Sr Analyst, Commercial Planning will join the team to drive day-to-day commercial performance, with primary ownership of orchestrating planning and execution across the team's business levels. This role ensures that commercial initiatives, campaigns, and cross-functional action plans run with discipline — on time, aligned to targets, and coordinated across the right stakeholders.

While execution is the core of the role, the Sr Analyst is also expected to bring a strategic lens: contributing to business case development, flagging trends and risks early, and helping shape the performance narrative that goes to leadership. This is a role for someone who's as comfortable driving the details of a campaign rollout as they are contributing a sharp insight into a planning discussion.

Operating at the intersection of Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Content, Partnerships, and Product, this role supports the commercial plan, helps build business cases, and co-owns BAU performance reporting.

The Sr Analyst, Commercial Planning will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate cross-functional action plans to achieve commercial targets and business objectives.
  • Support the execution of campaigns, promotions, content initiatives, and partnership activities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Content, Product, Analytics, and Partnerships teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve execution challenges.
  • Escalate risks, delays, or alignment issues when necessary.
  • Assist in developing and modeling business cases for new and existing commercial initiatives.
  • Analyze feasibility, scalability, and expected business impact, providing data-driven input and recommendations.
  • Support performance reporting through KPI tracking and target monitoring.
  • Identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement, proposing corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the analysis of business trends, risks, and opportunities for planning purposes.
  • Support the translation of commercial activities and market dynamics into financial insights.
  • Provide proactive analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • +3 years experience in similar roles.. Preferred industries: Entertainment, Technology, Consulting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Digital Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Work tools: Excel and Power BI required. IA tools, Airtable.
  • Strong ability to translate complex data and business dynamics into clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaborative mindset, with a high level of ownership, accountability, and commitment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a structured and logical approach.
  • Advanced level of English. Portuguese is a plus.

 Additional Information:
