Sprinkler Installer

Role Overview

As a Sprinkler Installer II, you will perform hands-on installation work on fire protection piping and sprinkler systems, complete your work accurately, and contribute to safe, professional project execution. Success in this role comes from solid trade skills, clear communication, and the ability to adapt to changing jobsite needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the installation of fire protection piping, valves, and accessories for commercial and industrial applications.
• Install wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems efficiently and neatly.
• Maintain proper documentation for work performed and keep records accurate and current.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.
• Provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices and support their development on the job.
• Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Perform physical labor and work in unusual or difficult positions, including ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the project.
• Work alternative shifts or weekends when customer or job requirements call for it.

How You Will Do It

• Own your work by completing each task safely, professionally, and with accountability.
• Stay close to the jobsite details and focus on the work that keeps the project moving for the customer.
• Use clear verbal and written communication when receiving instructions, documenting work, and guiding apprentices.
• Look for practical ways to improve each day through candor, problem-solving, and attention to workmanship.
• Work as one team with installers, apprentices, and supervisors, and bring a positive, adaptable attitude to changing field conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation and service of fire sprinkler systems.
• Self-starter who can work with little or no supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
• Capability to perform physical labor.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Willingness to work alternative shifts or weekends as needed.
• Valid Driving License.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $29.13-$41.05 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
