The Team and Role:
As a Value Engineering Intern, you’ll be helping us develop better should-cost models to make smarter sourcing and design decisions.

Your Contribution:

The VAVE (Value Analysis and Value Engineering) team builds component should-cost models to validate supplier quotations across different areas. As an VAVE Intern, you will collaborate with various experts to capture manufacturing know-how, standardizing labor and overhead cost structures to build a should-cost framework. You will receive support from the team and have opportunities to learn about value engineering

In this role you will:

• Framework Design: Map domain expertise and manufacturing parameters into a structured cost-modeling framework.
• Model Building: Construct and validate a new component costing model incorporating key cost drivers.
• AI & Process Optimization: Leverage AI and modern digital tools to automate data workflows and enhance modeling efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related fields.
• AI & Smart Tools: Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to leverage AI and advanced analytical tools to solve problems efficiently.
