Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time

Pay: $65–$75/hour

Help residents find their voice again!

At Orchard View Post Acute, you'll help residents do the things most of us take for granted, like enjoying a meal safely, talking with family, or remembering the details of their day. You'll have time to build real relationships with residents and a team that values what speech therapy brings to their recovery.

We're looking for a caring, skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our rehab team full-time.

What you'll be doing

• Evaluating residents and creating individualized treatment plans
• Treating swallowing disorders (dysphagia) and recommending safe diet textures
• Helping residents improve speech, language, voice, and cognitive-communication skills
• Teaching residents, families, and staff strategies for safe eating and better communication
• Working closely with PT, OT, nursing, dietary, and physicians to help each resident reach their goals
• Taking part in care conferences and discharge planning
• Keeping clear, timely documentation in our electronic health record

What we're looking for

• Active SLP license in Idaho, or the ability to get one
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply!
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Skilled nursing, rehab, or geriatric experience is a plus
• A warm, patient approach and a love of teamwork
