The opportunity
Join HR Shared Services in a key operational role supporting Australia and New Zealand for the World Courier and GCS businesses. As an in-country specialist, you will resolve country-specific HR questions and issues, apply local knowledge to HR processes, and help strengthen service quality across Cencora companies in the region.
You will also have access to a local HR leader for support with country-specific matters.
What you will do
- Respond to and resolve country-specific queries escalated by the HRSC Tier 1 team.
- Build and maintain strong expertise in local HR policies, processes and practices across Cencora companies in Australia and New Zealand.
- Act as a key contact for local-language requirements in HR processes, where needed.
- Complete Workday tasks that require specific local or country knowledge.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions that improve the employee and customer service experience.
- Deliver work within agreed response and resolution service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Act on relevant survey feedback and translate insights into practical service improvements.
- Partner with Operational Excellence and Training teams to identify and implement improvements.
Country-specific responsibilities
- Policy and legislative updates: Partner with the Knowledge team to keep country policies current and compliant.
- Reporting: Support country-specific reporting requirements.
- Audits: Support internal and external audits and complete regular required audits to help keep data accurate and up to date.
- Projects: Support in-country HR projects, as required.
- HRBP partnership: Provide operational support to HR Business Partners on ongoing projects, as needed.

What you bring

- Strong process & policy expertise in Australia & New Zealand

- The ability to work independently, apply sound judgement and escalate concerns or risks appropriately.
- A high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
- An analytical, solutions-focused approach to resolving escalated country-specific issues.
- A continuous improvement mindset focused on service and process quality.
- Fluency in the local language and a good working level of English.
Experience that would be an advantage
Experience using Workday and ServiceNow.
Experience working in a shared services centre or a global company.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
2+ years of experience in HR shared services, HR operations, employee services, payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, or a related field required.
Certification in human resources or human capital management preferred.
