Who are you

1. Drive Innovation: Lead the development and implementation of new welding technologies, focusing on automation and robotics

2. Advanced Welding Techniques: Apply expertise in advanced welding methods to optimize quality, efficiency, and safety

3. Setting standards: Define standard for welding process, welding material and gas setting

4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement in welding operations

5. Training & Mentorship: Guide and managing welding team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence

About the job

1. Responsible for ASME&A&B land boilers product as welding and process engineer

2. Responsible for welding documentation management, including WPQR, WPS.

3. Establish and improve the welding quality control system

4. Responsible for welder’s documentation management, including welder’s certificate and other related job

5. Responsible for designing and optimizing the training process for new and current welder, and support of routine Skill Evaluation

6. Analyze and resolve NCR required by Quality department, prepare the related repair procedure

7. Follow up production process and solve any welding questions from production department

8. Specifying and selecting new welding technology/equipment to improve quality and efficiency and reduce safety risk

9. Be responsible for the continuous reducing the welding material consumption, new welding material try-out and introduction

10. Be able to independently complete the organization, implementation, and control of welding projects

11. Supplier on-site review and technical support with sourcing engineer

12. Be able to lead project for applying new technology and automation in welding process

What you know:

Competencies / Profile:

  • Be systematic and organized

  • Have a good basic understanding of manufacturing methodologies
  • Good understanding of lean tools and 6Sigma

Qualifications & experience:

  • Extensive experience with advanced welding techniques (e.g., TIG, MIG, laser welding)
  • Proven track record in implementing automation and robotics in welding processes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and drive change within an organization
  • Familiarity with welding standards, materials science, and manufacturing best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges
  • Good English skill both in spoken and written
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, major in welding or Metals & Materials Engineering
  • More than 8 years of working experience in boiler and pressure vessel, welding technology, inspection, and management, with practical operation ability
  • Familiar with ASME, NB/GB/TSG, EN standards
  • With relative welding qualification or certificate/IWE
  • Experience in automation and robotization of welding process
  • Have worked in an international company
