About the role 

As Spa Therapist at Domes Noruz Chania, you will offer our guests a range of high quality treatments, including massages, facials, body treatments and other wellness therapies. Your focus will be on relaxing, rejuvenating and therapeutic treatments in a luxurious, personalised setting, while keeping the spa peaceful, clean and welcoming and every treatment to our professional standards. 

What you will do 

Guest experience 

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. 

• Carry out consultations to understand each guest's preferences and any health considerations or contraindications. 

• Personalise treatments to each guest's needs and preferences, in line with the spa menu. 

Treatments 

• Deliver a range of massage therapies, such as Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone and aromatherapy, in line with your training and qualifications. 

• Carry out body treatments, such as wraps and scrubs, following spa protocols. 

• Perform facials, skin care and other beauty treatments, where qualified and requested. 

Hygiene and cleanliness 

• Prepare treatment rooms and make sure all spa areas are cleaned and sanitised to hotel standards before and after every treatment. 

• Check spa supplies regularly and keep them stocked, clean and organised. 

• Follow safety, sanitation and hygiene protocols for a safe and comfortable environment for guests and colleagues. 

Product knowledge and upselling 

• Share your knowledge of spa products, ingredients and benefits to recommend the right home care products. 

• Suggest additional treatments and services where appropriate, enhancing the guest experience and helping reach sales targets. 

• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests about products and treatments. 

Requirements

What you will bring 

• Proficiency in a range of massage and therapy techniques, with knowledge of skin care, aromatherapy and body treatments. 

• Knowledge of spa therapies, services and products. 

• Good spoken English. 

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations. 

• Strong attention to detail. 

• Exceptional organisational and time management skills. 

• The ability to work in a fast paced environment and stay professional under pressure. 

• A problem solving approach and the ability to resolve concerns calmly. 

• At least 1 year of experience as a spa therapist in a luxury spa, hotel or wellness centre is desirable. 

• A degree or diploma in cosmetology, physiotherapy or a related field is desirable. 

• A second foreign language is desirable.
