Job Description:

The Solution Design and Implementation Specialist (m/f/x) supports the development and deployment of UPS technology solutions to enhance customer shipping, visibility, and billing processes. This entry-level role involves assisting in solution design, implementation, and troubleshooting while collaborating with internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in technology, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in analyzing customer requirements and contribute to solution design
• Support the implementation of UPS Enterprise Technology (PLD/API & Access Point Solutions) within customer IT infrastructure
• Conduct preliminary testing and troubleshooting to ensure solution functionality
• Provide documentation and basic training for customers on implemented solutions
• Collaborate with senior specialists and internal teams to align solutions with business needs
• Stay informed about UPS technology offerings and industry trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
• Strong interest in technology and willingness to develop expertise in solution design
• Basic experience with Microsoft Office; exposure to Visual Studio, BizTalk, or MS SQL is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and take initiative in learning new technologies
• Exposure to project management concepts is an advantage
• At least six months employment track at current position in UPS (for internal candidates only)
