Sales at MarqVision
Our Sales team partners with brands around the world to help them take back control from counterfeiters and infringers. From first conversation to signed contract, we lead consultative, value-driven engagements with legal, brand, and e-commerce leaders who are facing real and costly problems. It's a fast-moving, high-ownership environment where your work directly fuels MarqVision's growth.
How You’ll Make an Impact
You support our US sales team through the technical side of enterprise deals. You help scope opportunities, find the infringement evidence that shows a prospect what they're missing, prepare and co-deliver demos with the AE, and contribute to RFP responses and POCs.
You'll work alongside our London-based presales lead, using the same intake process, playbooks and RFP library. US requests are prioritized weekly by deal value and stage.
This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco office, with 3 days onsite per week. Candidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area, or willing to relocate at their own expense prior to start. We are not considering fully remote candidates for this role.
What You'll Do
- Scope deals with the AE before demos or proposals, documenting brand and asset hierarchy, priority products, channels, geographies, and feasibility, then prepare clear demo requests for Onboarding
- Investigate infringement across China platforms (Alibaba, 1688, Taobao, AliExpress), global marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, MercadoLibre), and social and closed communities, including impersonation sites, AI-generated content, executive impersonation, and concealment tactics
- Turn findings into slides and dashboard evidence that strengthens our position in competitive evaluations
- QA demo dashboards and BERs (Brand Exposure Reports) before they reach prospects, flagging gaps, requesting rescans, and adding infringing listings
- Shape demo strategy with the AE and presales lead, then co-deliver live demos and handle technical Q&A
- Draft technical sections of US RFIs and RFPs with the AE and Sales Enablement, contributing to the global RFP library
- Support POVs against customer success plans, plus gap analysis and upsell demos for existing US customers
- Flag capability gaps to Product, confirm GA vs. roadmap before anything is shown, and help evolve playbooks and run office hours for US AEs
What You Bring
- 3+ years in presales, solutions consulting, sales engineering or customer-facing technical roles in B2B SaaS, or in brand protection, anti-counterfeiting, OSINT or investigations
- Strong online research skills to find what's hidden on marketplaces and social platforms and explain how you found it
- Comfort working in the China marketplaces
- Confident presenting to enterprise buyers alongside an Account Executive
- Clear, precise writing skills with strong organizational habits, Salesforce discipline, and comfort working a ranked queue
- Openness to occasional travel for key US customer meetings
Bonus Points
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Korean
- Experience in luxury, pharma, sports and/or media
- Exposure to enforcement or IP legal work
