About this Solutions Consultant - AI & Recruitment Technology role at Careernowbrands
Career Now Brands is seeking an experienced and passionate Solutions Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role partners closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to help clients understand, adopt, and successfully launch AI-driven recruitment solutions. The role is a key communicator and facilitator between our customer’s own business goals and the teams at Career Now Brands that work to help achieve them, as such it will sit at the intersection of sales consultation, solution design, project management, and product strategy, reporting to the SVP of Product.
You will work directly with prospective and existing clients to understand their recruitment workflows, identify opportunities to apply AI and automation, and guide the configuration and rollout of our AI capabilities. You will own KPIs that are key to the health of our business and which will span client satisfaction, usage, growth, and cost-to-serve.
Over time, this role is expected to evolve into a Product Manager or Product Strategy position as our AI platform and client adoption mature.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Consultation
Partner with Sales on discovery and solutioning calls with prospective clients
Ensure understanding of client’s desired outcomes & business goals
Identify industry trends over time and translate them into insights to inform product development
Translate asks & needs into actionable projects with clear & measurable timelines
Ask smart, structured questions to understand a client’s:
Recruiting workflows
ATS / CRM / technology stack
Candidate engagement challenges
Volume, velocity, and quality constraints
Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales cycle
AI Solution Design & Strategy
Design high-level AI strategies for clients leveraging our AI capabilities (e.g., qualification, scheduling, routing, onboarding, retention support)
Recommend solution architectures that balance speed, impact, and operational feasibility
Create solution outlines, implementation approaches, and phased rollout plans
Help clients understand how AI fits into their broader recruiting and hiring strategy
Implementation & (Light) Project Management
Serve as the primary point of coordination during AI launches and configurations
Project management responsibilities including:
Requirements gathering
Configuration planning
Timeline coordination
Testing & validation
Launch readiness
Ensure smooth handoffs between Sales, Engineering, Product, and Client Success
Track risks, dependencies, and open questions through implementation & onboarding
Translate business and recruiting challenges into practical AI-powered solutions
Build business cases, small prototypes, and product vision statements
Confirm requirements and move them swiftly into the backlog
Lead internal discussions between business & technical stakeholders to ensure the vision is well understood
Vendor & Integration Management
Work with third-party vendors and technology partners to:
Gather requirements
Coordinate technical setup and integrations
“Bird dog” progress to keep implementations moving
Assist with vendor evaluations, agreements, and integration planning
Help ensure integrations align with client needs and internal standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Engage Engineering, Data, and Product teams to:
Support deeper technical analysis when needed
Validate solution feasibility
Influence roadmap priorities based on client needs
Translate client feedback and field learnings into actionable product insights
Contribute to internal documentation, playbooks, and best practices
Required Qualifications:
3–7+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
Solutions Consulting
Sales Engineering
Technical Consulting
Product Operations or Implementation
Strong understanding of SaaS, APIs, integrations, and modern tech stacks
Experience working with AI, automation, or workflow technology (hands-on or consultative, but with demonstrated results)
Comfortable in client-facing, executive-level conversations
Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-moving environments
Nice to Have:
Experience in recruiting technology, HR tech, or marketing technology
Exposure to ATS platforms, CRMs, or candidate engagement tools
Prior product management or roadmap-influencing experience
Familiarity with Agile or other lightweight project management methodologies
