The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a ServiceNow Enterprise Architect to serve as a hands-on technical leader responsible for designing, building, and evolving our enterprise ServiceNow platform. This role will support delivery teams by defining architectural standards, implementing business-aligned solutions, and ensuring platform scalability and reliability. You will deliver technical direction, maintain architectural integrity, and provide guidance in leveraging AI-enabled development tools to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to best practices.  Working closely with cross-functional partners, you’ll drive innovation, ensure platform reliability, and deliver scalable, user‑focused solutions that support critical business and compliance needs.

We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Enterprise Architect who can operate both at the solutioning level and as a hands-on developer. You will define platform structure, build reusable frameworks, identify areas of technical debt, support module implementations, and ensure solutions align with enterprise policies and technical standards. This role is expected to use modern AI-driven development tools to accelerate solution design, improve code quality, and support automated review and compliance processes. Candidates with strong ServiceNow development experience and relevant certifications are required.

Key Responsibilities

•             Serve as a hands-on contributor; participate in solution architecture, requirements quality reviews and facilitate technical troubleshooting as needed.
•             Define and maintain the architectural vision and technical standards for the ServiceNow platform.
•             Provide hands-on development, including scripting, integration design, prototyping, and solution implementation.
•             Provide hands on engineering support for adjacent applications ensuring consistency with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
•             Use AI-assisted development tools to improve solution quality, enforce best practices, accelerate troubleshooting, and enhance delivery efficiency.
•             Leverage full‑stack development experience (front‑end, back‑end, and API integration) to extend architectural leadership beyond the ServiceNow platform
•             Support Agile delivery teams by contributing to story refinement, technical design reviews, and sprint execution as needed.
•             Guide teams on proper use of ServiceNow capabilities across ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and custom application development.
•             Architect, design, and develop solutions using Now Experience and UI Builder, creating modern, component based workspaces and user interfaces that improve usability and align with enterprise UX and architecture standards.
•             Oversee technical readiness for upgrades and evaluate new ServiceNow features for adoption.
•             Maintain documentation for architecture decisions, system interactions, and platform configuration standards.
•             Mentor developers and administrators on architectural patterns, efficient coding techniques, and platform governance.

Required Qualifications
•             7–9 years of experience delivering enterprise-scale technical solutions, including direct ServiceNow development.
•             Strong architecture background across data, workflow, automation, integrations, and platform governance.
•             Hands-on scripting experience (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flows, Client Scripts, REST/SOAP integrations).
•             Bachelor’s degree.
•             Strong communication and documentation skills.

•  ServiceNow Certified System Administrator AND Certified Application Developer certifications

Preferred Qualifications
•            ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect
•             Ability to gain experience supporting additional application components using modern development frameworks and languages (such as JavaScript, Ruby, .NET)
•             Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and API based integrations and DevOps toolchains (e.g., GitHub).
•             Familiarity with eDiscovery or legal technology platforms (e.g., Relativity, Nuix).
