Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Architect to lead the design and optimization of our product’s integration architecture. In this role, you will serve as the key architect for API solution and ecosystem integration, overseeing the integration of advanced technologies while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end architecture for DMS and API ecosystem integrations, translating product and business goals into scalable, secure and operable solution designs.
  • Define and maintain the target integration architecture for dealer DMS connectivity, API enablement, data landing and ecosystem interoperability across IFM products.
  • Own the integration register as the single source of truth for internal APIs, DMS specifications, integration patterns, ownership, dependencies and usage standards.
  • Drive DMS market coverage analysis across regions, vendors and account priorities to inform integration sequencing and maximise dealer DMS coverage.
  • Standardise API and DMS specifications, integration patterns and design guardrails to support reusable delivery and reduce time-to-market for new integrations.
  • Partner with product, engineering, account teams and external ecosystem partners to shape integration roadmaps, prioritise initiatives and ensure delivery alignment.
  • Lead architecture for nextgen DMS integration product, including self-service API discovery, developer experience, AI-enabled integration support and embedded analytics.
  • Review solution designs for conformance with architecture principles, security, privacy, integration standards, operational supportability and target-state architecture.
  • Mentor engineers and architects on API design, DMS integration patterns, event/data integration, documentation standards and pragmatic delivery trade-offs.
  • Identify and resolve complex integration risks, technical debt and delivery blockers, acting autonomously where standards, interoperability or reliability are at risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years’ experience in software, integration or enterprise architecture, including 5+ years in a senior architecture or technical leadership role.
  • Proven experience designing and governing enterprise API architectures, including RESTful APIs, API gateways, developer portals, authentication/authorisation, versioning, observability and lifecycle management.
  • Strong understanding of ecosystem integrations, partner onboarding, vendor variability and specification-led integration approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to define reusable integration patterns, API standards, data contracts, canonical models and governance processes across multiple product teams.
  • Experience with cloud-native integration architectures, event-driven design, data ingestion/landing patterns, message queues, streaming, batch interfaces and operational monitoring.
  • Strong security and compliance knowledge across API security, data protection, access control, privacy-by-design and secure partner connectivity.
  • Experience leading discovery, roadmap definition and proof-of-concept delivery for complex integration initiatives involving internal teams and external partners.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex API architecture decisions to executives, product teams and engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability, with a focus on improving speed to market, reliability, reuse and measurable business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automotive retail, dealer management systems, OEM/dealer ecosystems, aftersales, parts, service or vehicle data domains.
  • Hands-on exposure to API productisation, self-service API portals, developer experience design, API analytics and API monetisation models.
  • Experience building or governing an integration catalogue, API register, partner interface inventory or reusable specification repository.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled integration approaches, including AI-assisted mapping, validation, documentation, support workflows or analytics embedded into integration products.
  • Experience with enterprise integration and API management platforms such as Apigee, MuleSoft, Kong, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway or similar technologies.
