About this Software Integration Engineer (Top Secret/SCI with agreement to obtain CI Poly Clearance Required) role at North Point Technology
North Point Technology is looking to hire a Software Integration Engineer to support a cutting-edge identity and access management program. This position requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph within the customer's timeline after hire. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience integrating enterprise software services, implementing secure authentication architectures, and operating identity management technologies in a classified environment.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the engineer will perform system integration across diverse software services, troubleshoot software issues to identify root causes and recommend effective fixes, and implement and evolve authentication, Single Sign On (SSO), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), federation, and cloud infrastructure solutions. The engineer will deploy and operate secure access management and Identity as a Service (IDaaS) technologies, execute Authentication (AuthN), Authorization (AuthZ), Digital Policy Management (DPM), Entitlement Management (EM), and Authoritative Attributes (AuthA) functions, and implement methods and standards for describing and documenting enterprise IT architecture. Navigation of Linux operating systems via command line interface will be a routine part of daily work.
Required Skills/Experience:
- System integration or software development, including integrating services from multiple disparate systems
- Debugging and troubleshooting software issues, investigating root causes, and recommending fixes
- Software testing or validation procedures
- Documentation of processes and procedures
- Implementation of authentication, SSO, SAML, and federation solutions
- Deployment and operation of Identity as a Service (IDaaS) or access management technologies
- Linux operating system navigation using command line interface
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Oracle Identity and Access Management (IdAM) suite, including Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Oracle Unified Directory (OUD)
- Authentication standards including OAuth2, SAML, or PKI
- Containerization of existing custom software
- DevOps tooling including Ansible and GitLab
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
- Security+ (SEC+) certification or DoD 8570 IAT Level II equivalent certification, or ability to attain within 60 days of start
- Active Top Secret security clearance required to start; must meet SCI eligibility
- Must be willing and able to obtain a CI Polygraph within the customer's timeline after hire
- U.S. citizenship required
