Your Role

  • Join our development team in the field of system metrology and play a key role in shaping the software for our high-precision measurement systems for the semiconductor industry
  • Take responsibility for the design, development and continuous enhancement of complex software solutions
  • Analyze technical requirements, develop robust software concepts and support their implementation from specification through integration and commissioning

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and continuously enhance software for complex measurement and analysis systems
  • Analyze functional and technical requirements and derive suitable solutions
  • Collaborate closely with specialist departments, systems engineering, hardware development, integration and testing teams to develop and implement technical solutions
  • Create software designs and technical concepts
  • Implement, test and ensure the quality of software components
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and the continuous improvement of our software landscape
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues at both component and system level
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues on technical matters
  • Leverage your experience to make a significant contribution to the technical advancement of our system metrology solutions
  • Act as an interface between specialist departments and software development and make an important contribution to developing innovative solutions for the next generation of semiconductor manufacturing

Your Profile

  • A degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Strong interest in interdisciplinary software projects involving technically complex hardware and software systems
  • Strong communication skills in German and English, combined with excellent teamwork skills, assertiveness and the ability to maintain an overview in complex situations
  • Experience in directly interfacing with and controlling hardware components via TCP/IP, RS-232 and bus systems
  • Experience in C# development for controlling workflows and processes of industrial machinery using Windows-based PCs
  • Strong affinity for hardware and a solid understanding of hardware-software interaction
  • Knowledge of fieldbus systems and OPC UA
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Git and Azure DevOps
