About you: 

You are a member of a cross functional team (Developers, Testers and Product Owners) and you will report to an Engineering Team Lead, who works alongside you on team deliverables. Day to day you will be focused on quality, working on our cross platform/device web applications, our latest projects use .NET Core, React, and Angular – with Microservices and Serverless Applications. You will be expected to interpret requirements, design, develop,

validate and release our work within our adaptive agile culture - incorporating scrum, Kanban, TDD and XP - using the right methodology to achieve and maintain the result

required.

Day-to-day, you will: 

• 3+ years hands -on C#. Net software development experience
• Experience in design and technical aspects of product development projects
• Experience working with document database, CouchDB, ElasticSearch, or equivalent
• Experience in data warehousing, business intelligence and ETL development
• Knowledge of SaaS technologies using .Net Core, React & Angular.
• Understanding of large systems application development including performance and security requirements.
• Exposure to some of the latest cloud technologies, contemporary front end or mobile development frameworks.
• Exposure to development tools used in continuous integration, source code management and test automation.
• Success in an agile development environment and an understanding of development frameworks such as XP, TDD, Kanban or scrum.

Your skills and experiences might also include:  

• Strong C# .Net skills and the proven ability to produce smart simple and highly performance code
• SQL and JQuery skills. Experience with database design and development advantageous
• Knowledge of SaaS technologies using .Net across C#, javascript/ Query and MVC
• High levels of self-awareness and ‘emotional intelligence’. Knowing your technical and professional strengths and weaknesses to guide you on when to tackle work independently and when to seek help and support from others
• Exposure to an agile development environment and an understanding of development frameworks such as XP, TDD, Kanban or scrum
• Communication skills - a proven ability to work well in a multi- functional team based environment
• A delivery orientation - the ability to balance sometimes complex development and technical requirements with customer needs and commercial priorities
• Exposure to some of the latest .Net cloud technologies, contemporary front end or mobile development frameworks
• Exposure to development tools used in continuous integration, source code management and test automation
• Well organised and the ability to work well under pressure
• A positive outlook, sense of humour and high levels of personal energy
