The Department of Astronomy is seeking a student assistant to support administrative and department operations projects. Duties may include helping organize internal resources, updating department records, assisting with website and profile information updates, maintaining contact lists, supporting event and office resource tracking, and other related duties as assigned.

Preferred qualifications:
Good organizational and communication skills
Knowledge of social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Teams, and basic office equipment

Federal Work Study is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers.

Hourly rate: $14/hour
