About this SoC System Architect role at Envision Employment Solutions

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a SoC System Architect for one of our partners, an IT Services and IT Consulting company.
THE ROLE
Before a line of RTL is written, someone has to decide what the chip should be. You'll define system architecture for processor based SoCs with a strong focus on AI performance, modelling options, weighing power against performance, and setting the direction that design teams build on.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Define system level architecture for ASICs and SoCs, including processor subsystems
- Build and use SystemC and performance models to evaluate architecture options
- Analyse and optimise AI workload performance on the target architecture
- Drive power analysis and performance, power and area trade offs at system level
- Evaluate RISC based cores and other microprocessor options
- Work with EDA flows and design teams to make sure the architecture is implementable
- Write architecture specifications and guide teams through implementation
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of experience in SoC, ASIC or microprocessor architecture
- Strong SystemC modelling and performance analysis experience
- Knowledge of RISC architectures and CPU microarchitecture
- Experience with AI or ML accelerator performance analysis
- Solid understanding of power analysis and EDA flows
- Strong specification writing and communication skills
