Summary of Job Duties:
Maintains all automotive and mechanical equipment in good operating condition.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 2 years training at an auto mechanic technical school.
2. Must have ASE Certification
3. Must have a valid AR Driver’s License /CDL
4. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a journeyman auto mechanic at a dealership garage or equivalent.
5. Completion of current auto trade extension courses on items such as: auto electronics, transmissions, air conditioning, differentials, brakes, and other related subjects.
6. Experience in diesel mechanics is welcomed.
7. Ability to keep service records up-to-date.
8. Training and experience in oxy-acetylene and arc welding.
9. Should have knowledge of safety procedures related to hazardous materials.
Physical Requirements Able to bend, stoop, and lift. Average physical strength is required for lifting heavy objects.
