About Team

We count on our site reliability engineers (SREs) to empower users with a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance level to pursue their missions. As we expand customer deployments, we’re seeking an experienced SRE to deliver insights from massive-scale data in real time. Specifically, we’re searching for someone who has fresh ideas and a unique viewpoint, and who enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences for every interaction.
What you will be doing
- Understanding project KPIs, SLI's, SLO's, MTTD, MTTR, Error budgets, Chaos engineering and eliminating TOILs by automation
- Exploring observability tools and creating/implementing dashboards
- Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
- Incident Management: Knowledge in handling incidents, participating in blameless postmortem, performing root cause analysis, and implementing post-incident reviews.
- Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions
- Develop scripts to reduce toil and automate repetitive tasks, issues resolution scripting.
- Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continual improvement
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools
- Setting up tools and required infrastructure
- Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
- Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management
- Recreates client issues in test environment, Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes.
- Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily Client-centric activities.
- Writes technical specifications and other forms of documentation.
- Understanding the business impact of reliability and performance issues.
- Understanding of networking concepts, OSI, TCP/IP layers and protocols, as well as experience with network troubleshooting.
- Managing Risk as an SRE
What you bring:
Essential Experience:
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Flexible to work in cross function team
- Experience of supporting live systems or other experience of working with and troubleshooting software in a business setting
Desirable Experience:
- Financial markets knowledge
- Experience of working in distributed systems – Linux, Windows
Essential Technical Skills:
- Experience in supporting Unix/Linux/Windows based application environments
- Knowledge of any RDBMS/NoSql
- Good knowledge of application support domain
- Worked on/with System and Application Monitoring and Observability tools – Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace.
- Experience with 3rd party tools Management.
- Hands on experience in preparing PowerShell/Python/Shell script automation.
- Exposure to latest SRE, Cloud, DevOps technologies. Also, Knowledge of Containers, Dockers, Kubernetes/OpenShift tools.
- Skills in using tools like Terraform & Ansible to automate infrastructure management.
