We are currently seeking a Full-Time Shipping Warehouse Associate to join our team based out of our Richmond, BC location.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring accuracy when shipping, and recording all inventory and materials to and from Fresh Start Foods facilities.
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm. Hours may vary depending on business need.
Wage: Depending on experience, between $21-24/hour (paid on a weekly basis!)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Lead Hand or Supervisor.
- Frequently operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand jack, and other equipment to load, unload transport, and store goods.
- Achieving productivity targets.
- Ensuring orders are finished according to shipping schedules.
- Working together with team members to ensure an efficient production flow.
- Ensuring products are shipped and received to specifications.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must have 1-2 years of warehouse/shipping experience.
- Experience working with stand up counterbalance, reach truck, and walkie/rider is an asset.
- Must be proficient with a computer (ie. Google Sheets, Gmail, etc).
- Strong Attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Accountable and Dependable.
- Self motivated and have the desire to improve continuously.
- Frequent lifting, pushing & pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending/stooping. Occasionally required to squat/kneel/rotate/twist/balance.
- Must be able to work Holidays as required.
- Able to work Overtime as required.
