The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating daily shipping activities to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of products. This role involves preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, tracking shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping operations and ensure on-time dispatch of orders.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes.
• Schedule shipments with freight carriers, logistics providers, and transport companies.
• Monitor shipment status and provide updates to internal teams and customers.
• Track deliveries and resolve shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate order processing, labeling, packaging, and documentation.
• Maintain shipment records, reports, and logistics databases.
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, sales, and customer service teams.
• Verify freight charges and support cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
• Assist in improving shipping processes and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, freight coordination, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and transportation procedures.
• Experience working with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar systems preferred).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
