Job Description Summary

Dauch is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join our world-class team. This role located at our Bowling Green plant in Bowling Green, OH.

The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all shipping and receiving operations, ensuring efficient and accurate movement of materials and finished goods, and leading a team of shipping/receiving associates.

Job Description:

• Manage and coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, including inbound and outbound freight, material handling, and inventory control.
• Supervise, train, and develop a team of shipping/receiving personnel, including performance management, scheduling, and task delegation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the shipping/receiving department.
• Supervise sorting, staging, and inventory handling operations to support production and customer requirements.
• Ensure shipping and receiving equipment is operated and maintained according to established procedures; coordinate repairs and maintain required supplies
• Maintain a safe, secure, and organized work environment by enforcing safety policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices; promptly address and communicate potential hazards.
• Collect, analyze, and report shipping and receiving performance metrics, trends, and operational data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support inventory accuracy through proper documentation and record retention practices.
• All other duties as assigned.
