Job Description
- Ensure compliance with all safety requirements, policies, and applicable OSHA regulations.
- Understand and uphold the company's quality standards, business ethics, and policies in daily work practices.
- Take ownership of achieving and continuously improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Ensure employees comply with all company policies, regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Plan, organize, lead, and monitor production activities and resources to meet operational objectives.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, including performance metrics and issue tracking.
- Monitor and control work-in-progress (WIP) inventory and material usage to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
- Lead and support projects related to process improvements, productivity enhancements, and product line expansions.
- Maintain production areas in accordance with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Foster effective communication with supervisors, team members, and cross-functional departments.
- Demonstrate strong leadership by serving as a role model in safety, quality, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to team goals and support operational objectives as required.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- This is a 1-year fixed-term contract position.
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; OR
- Diploma in Supervisory Management, Production Management, or a related field, preferably with experience in a medical device manufacturing environment.
Language Requirements
- Proficient in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
