Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Planning
- Own service demand forecasting processes for spare parts supporting New Product Introductions (NPI), End-of-Life (EOL) products, and current service offerings.
- Plan spare parts inventory for Lab Automation products supporting consumption in North America (NA).
- Create intercompany stock transfer orders to facilitate inventory rebalancing activities across facilities.
- Own stocking and replenishment strategies for field locations within the United States (US), including Field Service Engineer (FSE) trunk stock and Forward Stocking Locations (FSLs).
- Maintain ownership of data feeds and ensure data accuracy within the Service Supply Chain planning tool.
Supply Chain Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Lead the development and maintenance of service supply chain dashboards and reporting tools, including On-Time In-Full (OTIF), transportation cost, inventory overview, and cost avoidance/savings dashboards.
- Develop Power BI solutions that provide visibility into inventory, demand, service performance, productivity, and cost metrics.
- Analyze service and supply chain performance trends and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Create executive-level reporting packages that support operational reviews and strategic planning, including recurring updates, trackers, and bowler reporting.
- Support long-range planning and capacity modeling efforts.
- Partner with logistics providers, including FedEx and UPS, to obtain and leverage logistics data and system access.
- Identify and propose process improvements utilizing Lean methodologies, AI solutions, and other enabling technologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Field Service, Finance, and Global Supply Chain teams to improve planning processes, inventory management, and service delivery performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, service operations, analytics, forecasting, or business intelligence.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exposure to SAP, ServiceMax, or equivalent enterprise systems.
- Experience developing dashboards and analytical solutions using Power BI.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience working across global, cross-functional organizations.
- Experience with inventory planning, forecasting, or service supply chain operations.
- Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
