Job Description:

GDIT has an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint Administrator to U.S. Army Europe & Africa (USAREUR-AF) as a member of our EMITS2 program team. 

 

The SharePoint Systems Admin will monitor, diagnose, and support the Microsoft SharePoint platform. They will provide SharePoint architectural and technical product expertise and serve as the SME for SharePoint-related projects throughout the organization.  

HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Perform routine SharePoint administration activities such as site provisioning, account management, group management, permissions management, site collection configuration, search configuration, creating custom and standard web parts, lists, libraries, and other system administration tasks.  
• Create, edit, and troubleshoot Power Platform objects, Power Apps, PowerBI and Power Automate, in the Office 365 environment. 
• Provide guidance and technical support to site owners for items related to content management, permissions, site ownership, document management, forms, and workflows.  
• Serve as the initial contact for SharePoint related issues to include notifying customers of unexpected outages, and routine maintenance. 
• Provide on-demand and scheduled end-user training. 
• Diagnose and resolve logic and coding errors for solutions.  
• Enhance existing solutions through configuration and code changes. 
• Monitor and manage end user tickets, help ticket portal and support mailbox.  
• Assist in maintaining and updating Continuity Book with best practices and updated ticket resolutions. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Clearance Requirement: Secret Level Security Clearance
• Must be eligible for German TESA
• Education: BA and 5 years experience
• Three (3) years experience as a SharePoint application developer and administrator providing analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.  
• Experience: Three (3) years experience with script and/or programming languages related to web design principles and applications such as Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft SharePoint, JavaScript, JQuery, ExtJS, Bootstrap 
• Skills: Three (3) years experience integrating SharePoint with other technologies such as JavaScript and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, PowerBI, Power Automate) 
• Certification: Candidate must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification on Day 1. 

German TESA requirements: 

• A bachelors degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, OR; An associates degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR;  A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; 11 years of recent specialized experience.

The likely salary range for this position is $105,165 - $142,283. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
