This Technical Support Representative will be responsible for providing 24-hour technical assistance via phone and email to customers around the world.

As a Service24 Technical Support Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting fault diagnosis and offer remote service support on a 24 hour call-out basis.
• Interpreting specifications and technical requirements.
• Representing the Company at customer technical meetings.
• Training customers’ personnel, subcontractors, and other members of the service organization.
• Owning the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues.
• Working cross functionally with various departments to assist internal and external customers

• Liaising with Field Service Engineers and internal technical teams to coordinate customer support activities.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Engineering from a four-year university or college and/or a minimum of 10 years field service experience.
• 1-3+ years proven experience supporting customers

• Experience within Field Service, Service Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, or Technical Support environments.

• Possess an eye for detail coupled to good organizational skills.
• Have good interpersonal skills, inclusive working style and able to effectively interface with all levels of internal organization and external customers

• Previous experience supporting generators, motors, switchgear, or power generation equipment.
• Experience providing remote technical support to industrial customers.
• Knowledge of condition monitoring, diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
• Previous participation in an on-call support environment.

• This is primarily a home-based role with flexible working arrangements. Candidates should be willing to participate in a rotating on-call support schedule and occasionally travel for meetings, customer visits, and training activities.
