About this Service Operations Specialist role at Hempel
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Operations Specialist to serve as a bridge between cross function and external parties. In this role, you need deal with quality and efficiency of internal service and cross-functional coordination.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate internal and external resources to provide department-level operational support for the Services Operation team in China.
- Provide data analysis and operational reporting to support management decisions, service quality and business performance improvement.
- Act as the key contact for cross-functional coordination and represent the Services Operation Support team in daily operational matters.
- Support safety-related coordination, documentation and follow-up in cooperation with QHSE and relevant stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor degree or above. Education in safety, engineering, marine, mechanical, electrical, business administration or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years relevant experience in service operations, safety coordination, engineering support, project coordination, shipyard, marine or industrial operations is preferred.
- Candidates with practical HSE, site safety or engineering working experience will be given priority.
- Good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, with the ability to handle English business information and emails.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with Power BI or other data analysis tools is preferred.
